About Us
CoolxDad is a nonprofit organization empowering fathers, father figures, and male role models to be engaged leaders in their families and communities. Founded by Kevin Barnett, CoolxDad uplifts men of color by providing mentorship, resources, and programs that focus on financial literacy, mental wellness, community service, and self-esteem.
Our initiatives, including the Color Box Program, CoolxKids, and #beacooldad Series, equip fathers with the tools to succeed in parenthood and life. Knight’s Table Dinners foster meaningful connections, while community events—like back-to-school welcomes and holiday gift drives—bring essential support where it’s needed most.
