Hear from Gloria Medina Zenteno, a Houston East End native, who in 2010, founded Barrio Dogs to educate the youth and empower residents to transform change for the animals in the East End and Angelita Sampaio, Vice President of Emancipet, a low cost veterinary clinic with their first, Houston location, in the East End. Their East End Connection allows them to help save, foster, protect and make a difference during COVID-19’s homeless and newly adopted pet population in our East End Community.
