TPC Group Announces Application Process is Now Open for the 2015 Annual Charity Golf Tournament
HOUSTON (Friday, April 17, 2015) --- Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 TPC Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Non-profit organizations can fill out an official application and submit before the Friday, May 29 postmark deadline. The application may be filled out by hand or electronically.
Since its inception in 2006, the Tournament has donated more than $550,000 to charities in the communities in which TPC Group operates. Last year, the Tournament surpassed its goal and raised more than $125,000.
Not-for-profit organizations are encouraged to participate in the application process. Eligible organizations are those that meet the following criteria:
• dedicate their organization's mission to impact a key focus area aligned with the Company's outreach
strategy. The key focus areas are:
◦ Civic/Community
◦ Education
◦ Environment
◦ Health/Human Services
• operate primarily within the geographic region of a TPC Group operating facility
• are not political or religious in nature
• qualify under Sections 501 (c) 3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code
