As we all wear masks to keep others and ourselves safe and healthy\, join us as we show and discuss how to add "Beauty in Masking Up!" \n\n \n\n Hear from Lizbeth Ortiz\, a local artist who has transformed her studio into making masks that look like pieces of art. Also joining us is Founder\, Sarah-Jayne Smith & Ahshia Berry of Magpies & Peacocks\, the nation's only 501(c)3 non-profit design House\, who have been mobilizing their maker/sewing network to help supply masks for Houston care givers in the medical and essential services fields\, while partnering with local artists to feature and sell their masks on-line. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n This crisis may have paralyzed the globe\, but these and other artists are united in their inspiration while providing safety with a touch of art. \n\n \n\n Chamber staff will also show their favorite masks and if you want to be part of the fun\, e-mail frances@eecoc.org\, a photo of you and your favorite mask and tell us why it is your favorite.
