Description
The Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity (DEEO) invites you to participate in our upcoming 4-part series: Heavy Haul, Big Goals: A Trucking Business Forum. A targeted business development experience for small, minority-, and women-owned trucking firms interested in doing business with Harris County. This interactive forum is designed to strengthen your firm’s readiness, expand your visibility, and connect you with real contract opportunities.
By Participating, You Will:
- Develop a professionally designed capability statement
- Craft and refine your elevator pitch through guided coaching
- Engage in pitch practice sessions with real-time feedback
- Learn how to suit up, show up, and follow up — the keys to building business relationships
- Meet directly with active prime contractors
- Gain a deeper understanding of compliance, safety expectations, and procurement processes
This is more than a workshop—it’s a strategic pipeline to future opportunities. We strongly encourage full participation in all sessions to maximize the benefits of the program and ensure you’re fully equipped to compete. A flyer with registration details and session dates is attached for your convenience.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
We look forward to helping you drive your business forward—one load, one pitch, and one contract at a time.
